Gold Round Wall Mirror, Gold Leaf Frame

A ring of delicate gold metal leaves frames this round mirror from VELORA, bringing a soft botanical touch to a hallway, bedroom or living room wall. It reads as decoration first and mirror second, which is exactly why it works above a console table, a dresser or a small side table, where a plain mirror would look purely functional.

The frame is wrought iron with a gold finish, around 39cm across, surrounding a mirror of roughly 27cm. That scale makes it a finishing piece rather than a full length mirror: large enough to bounce light around a darker room and catch a glance on the way out of the door, small enough to fit a narrow wall or sit in a group with framed prints. Placed opposite a window, it reflects daylight back into the room, which makes a real difference to a north facing hallway through the darker months.

It is wall mounted, so use a fixing suited to your wall and the weight of the mirror, and hang it clear of busy walkways where the leaf edges could be knocked. Wipe the frame with a dry cloth, and clean the glass with a soft cloth rather than an abrasive spray, which can dull the gold finish. It also makes an easy housewarming gift.
